the finished quilt

i finally got around to taking a few photos of this quilt i made for alice. it's made from scraps of fog linen and some dusty pink linen i picked up at dressew.

it's been washed and dried so many times that it's starting to get that crinkly look and feel that i love. the linen is also much softer now, way better for a little one's skin.

it has been a great playmat for alice and to keep her warm on walks in the fall. it will also work nicely when she is old enough to have a blanket to snuggle with in her crib. i love the thought that she may take comfort in something that i made for her.

but for now i'm just happy that she's scooting around on it.

I'd love one like this for my own bed, gorgeous muted colours.

This is a lovely quilt, sure to be a treasure. The cutie on the quilt is pretty great too! I love her Canada onesie!
